Our Story

The Garage Sale Store is owned & operated by Leann & Donald Monjure. In the early 2000's Leann decided to turn a life-long hobby (shopping at garage sales, antique shops, auction & flea markets) into a business, and opened Slidell's largest & longest continuously running garage sale.

Leann and Donald range far and wide to find great deals on items of every shape, description, color, use & size. They focus on finding top quality or hard-to-find merchandise, like furniture & antiques that experience tells them is in demand. "Our store is helping people get nice things they otherwise couldn't afford," Leann said. "We do not have junk here. There is a lot of nice stuff, or I wouldn't even purchase and offer it."

The Garage Sale Store (750 Old Spanish Trail, in Slidell) is open Friday & Saturday from 9am to 4pm, or you can call to set-up an appointment on other days. We look forward to seeing you soon!
